MEMPHIS
3 yo Bronze spotted Egyptian Mau.
We are thrilled to announce the Memphis is finally available for
adoption. She was one of our 12 Cats of Christmas and has been with us
for 18 months.
We would like to say a great big
"thank you" to her foster mother, Abhay, who absolutely refused to give
up. She was even told by one vet that humane euthanasia might be the
better choice for the cat.
Abhay is 18 years old and has been
volunteering with our group since she was 14 years old. She works full
time in order to support herself while she goes to College. In the midst
of all of this she chose to take on one of the most difficult cases
we've ever seen. It is her persistence and patience that got this cat
back to good health. Abhay refuses to give up, and refused to continue
to listen to a vet that was missing the final piece of the diagnostic
puzzle. She did her research online and found herself a vet that would
do the testing she felt was necessary. We think Abhay will be an
excellent physician when she finally gets herself through college, don't
you?
And now back to Memphis. Memphis lives with other cats, but we think
she'd be best as an only cat. She is SUPER loving and would like to
sleep on your pillow every night. Her coat is spectacular now that her
health has improved. Abhay has studied feline nutrition extensively and
feeds her cats an ideal diet of high protein, low carbs, no bi -
products, no corn.
Please contact Abhay Knickerbocker at abhayk_@hotmail.com for more
information on this extraordinary cat. You might also call Cyndi @
(707)301-RESQ since Abhay is busy during the day. Emails will be
answered during the evenings. If you don't get an answer to your email
w/in 24 hours, please email us here at Info@purebredsplus.org. We'll be
anxiously waiting for a wonderful adopter!
or send an Adoption Application.
