2-3 yo Tabby Persian

Baby Doll looks just like her name ... like a tiny little baby. A forever kitten is what she will be. It's doubtful that she weighs any more than 4 lbs right now, and we honestly questioned the caretaker about her age. If we had found her and didn't have a history , we would guess her age at about 6 months. We wouldn't be surprised to find out she is Julia's daughter, NOT her sister.

Julia grooms Baby Doll and Baby Doll rubs up against her like mamma. Don't let these terrible pictures fool you. She had just gotten her bath and was getting ready to make the long trip to her foster home in Santa Cruz. Not the happiest moment in her life.

We've not seen Golden Persians in Rescue before, so we were quite surprised to end up with Julia, Baby Doll and their mother Tiny Dancer. They came to us in a group of 6 Persians when a former CFA breeder passed away. While they must have had decent care at one time in their life, the past couple of months and years weren't so hot. These babies were matted and filthy and very thin. It took two bathings to get the smell off of them. Thankfully, their personalities didn't suffer from neglect.

They are very charming little girls. Playful and kind. Julia and Baby Doll would be ideal if you are looking for a pair of little female Persians. They are currently being fostered in Santa Cruz. Their foster mother will tell us more about their personalities as they begin to blossom in her care. She will also tell us if she feels it is best that they remain together as life long companions or if they would be OK separated.

Right now they are recovering from their spay surgery and getting fed lots of food to put some meat on their bones. We think foster mom might just decide they are the cat's meow and keep them herself!
