Although B.C is shy with strangers, you can see he's a very happy boy
with people he trusts and loves."
BC is what we call a "Lucky Domestic". He had a run of bad luck when he was four months old. That was when his human family dumped him in a ditch out in the Country. His luck changed when that ditch happened to be right in front of the home of one of our volunteers. It took us about
2 months to finally trap him and then teach him how cool people are. He got the hang of the whole living in the house with people thing. He is so grateful to be warm and dry during these cold winter nights. He shows us how grateful he is by sitting in our lap, helping us with the computer, playing with our toes under the blankets and sleeping snuggled under his foster mom's chin at night. And we don't want to forget to mention that he's a major purr machine. Due to his rough beginning, BC is a touch shy with strangers. Once he gets to know you, he's as loving as if he's known you for life.
BC gets along with other cats. He'd love to be placed with another playful young cat, even a boy cat is great because they can play just as much as he does. As a matter of fact, if you want a second playmate for BC we do have other young Lucky Domestics that would be happy to go home with him. One of his best friends is another tuxedo boy named Jac. BC might also do well in a home with well behaved children.
BC is completely black with just a little diamond shaped patch of white on his chest. His fur is shiny and lays slick against his body. He's going to look like a panther when he grows up.
This is a wonderful boy. His adoption fee is just $75.00, not because he's less special than a purebred cat, we just know he's going to have a harder time placing than those snooty purebreds in his foster home.
