HEAI
2-3 yo Blue Point Siamese
Heai (pronounced Hay Yee we think) is a lovely Blue Point Siamese. It is
obvious that at one time this was someone's beloved pet. He has been
very well cared for in his life. We have to wonder what would make
someone leave a cat like this behind? Was it an elderly person who
passed away or went into a home that didn't allow pets? Did his family
lose their home in the mortgage crisis? We will never know.
Poor Heai
has been severely traumatized by the loss. He was so frightened that he
didn't come out of his carrier for nearly 2 weeks. We knew he was eating
because the food disappeared. Finally one day he decided he liked us and
came out to visit. It turns out he is a very sweet and loving boy.
Heai was adopted by a great family, but found himself overwhelmed once
again. He is frightened by the other cats in the household and one of
them is picking on him. The funny thing is that the Siberian Husky
doesn't really seem to bother him too much.
We are grateful to Barbara
for agreeing to foster Heai for us while we find him another home. She
has sent a few pictures that show his charming side. He is healthy and
beautiful, we just need to find him the perfect home.
He will do best in
a household with no small children or other cats. A very quiet dog might
be OK. You will find him an extremely rewarding cat if you can just give
him a chance to settle in.
