His papered name is Honkytonk Cowboy but he likes it if you just call him Howie. Howie was born 12-19-97. He is TICA and CFA registered, and has won many cat show awards.

He is a "Chocolate Tabby". Yes he is a senior - but you would never know it if you met him. He is very energetic and loves to play. He is a big boy. Howie takes a while to warm up to you when he meets you. Once he gets to know you - he can be very affectionate.

These pictures do not do any of these kitties justice. Their coats are plush and the colors are striking. Howie and Harley are brothers and best friends - and ideally we would love to find someone willing to give them a home and lots of affection in their golden years !! Their breeder passed away early this year. Her daughter has been a great caregiver to these cats - but can no longer keep them.

They have never been caged - and have been loved and well cared for. They are happy and healthy - and will make wonderful pets for some lucky people. This is a spectacular kitty !

Update: 4/12/09. Howie has found a great new foster mom. She doesn't think that Howie is a sophisticated enough name for him so she's calling him Clancy. Regardless of the name this is a fabulous cat. What a lover boy! He gets along with other cats, and settled into his new environment after just 48 hours.
