This beautiful boy walked right into my carrier in the shelter. I don't know if he felt it was time to go home or he is just the most cooperative guy you could wish to meet. Both are probably true. He had been in the shelter a month, which is a long time.
Turned in as a stray "picked up in a mountainous area" he was likely actually an owner surrender. He is healthy, well fed, loving and his neck fur showed he had been wearing a collar. He could have gotten lost and pulled off his collar in which case a microchip would have really helped him get home again. We'll never know how he was separated from his family.
He was loved in the shelter which may be why they managed to keep him a month. " Mr Mellow" they called him. He is the nicest guy. Well mannered, loving , very playful. An easy beautiful kitty. He uses his litterbox perfectly, eats wet and dry food. He has just been neutered.
We will update this bio with more about him as we get to know him better though this much info is enough to get this gorgeous guy adopted quickly. Some family will be super lucky.

May Update: Well what a nice boy this kitty is. Playful but well behaved.
Curious, he will follow you about to see what interesting things you
are doing . Today we let him out with some well behaved male and
female kitties. He was fine with them right from the start. So he is
cat friendly. We will get some photo's of his long sleek body soon.
He is a beauty.
