Well, it will be great when this guy is ready for a brand new name. Right now he is super skinny and he is a fairly large Persian with long legs and body. He is about 6 and a half pounds and should probably be 10 at least. He came in at 5 pounds 10 ozs. We shaved off his thick matted fur and there was so little body there. Yikes! He is Antioch kitty number 38. He won my heart immediately.

There is something about him. His way of looking at you so deeply. He loves humans and attention. He has learned that wet food is edible and now he waits for it morning and night and takes great joy in it. (We feed him a lot in between too.) He is such a good boy.

Skinny is playful and curious, recovering from being a bit weak and overwhelmed by his life and the changes of shelter and travel, etc. Recovering also from a kitty cold. He will be totally fine. His heart is huge (in the good sense). He will be a great loving, heavy, handful soon. Someone will be lucky to have his company. Great cat.
