CATS
of
PPCR

Please donate to any cat or group of cats you see on our website. Some cats stay in Rescue longer than others, and we always need money to pay for food, litter, and medical attention.

99 Exotic & Shorthair persians seized from the home of a breeder We have found foster spaces for 29 of the cats and we expect to have many more come through our doors in the next few weeks. We need money for food and litter, and we may ask for help as we assess their health. See all the cats HERE and the names of the generous people who donated to their care.

35 HYBRID CATS signed over to us from animal control Chausie, Savannah, Jungle Bob, Abyssinian, Egyptian Mau, and Bengals are now in our care. Most are dangerously thin from raging diahhrea. Read about them HERE and add your name to the growing list of generous folks who have donated to their care.

Please Sponsor a Cat When you look at all the healthy adoptable cats on our website, please remember that there are others waiting in the wings for sponsors to help with their medical costs.

SMOKER needs some dental work and nasal surgery done. We can get the both done at the same time for around $550. Please consider donating to this guy's future health. You can read more HERE.

LADY BIRD Just to breathe normally she will need radiographs, a nasal flush, a possible biopsy, and a dental for a cost of $650. You can read all the details HERE.

SCAR is pretty scarred up on his head. He may have gotten beat up fighting for his dinner. He may need a blood panel or a change of meds. Read his story HERE.

TOP ROW CATS These boys and girls have been in Rescue for a while. We hope you'll come meet them and find a love connection!

Help us help the cats fly out the door and into their new forever homes. No Pressure. No Dues. No need to foster. Just do what you can when you can do it. There are many tasks that you can do that don't require a longterm commitment. We have an immediate need for people who can help with posting of flyers, transportation, photography & videography, and fundraising. The FEBRUARY flyer is ready for you to print out and post in your neighborhood shops, coffee houses, vet clinics, and websites. Please let us know if you are doing this so we'll know how successful this campaign is. Thanks! You can download it HERE.

Shelter Cats With the economy the way it is today, purebred and other exceptional cats are suddenly flooding into Rescue and turning up in high kill shelters. We wish we could take them all, but we don't have the space. Please consider a cat still waiting in a shelter. We have posted some of those cats HERE.

Cats-in-Residence Are you an administrator of a convalescent, retirement, assisted living, or Alzheimer's home who recognizes the therapeutic value of Cats-in-Residence? More and more group homes are adopting a cat who will wander from room to room for petting and napping. Cats bring a sense of family and comfort. They also help ease ongoing loneliness that contributes to depression and related illness. And, as a bonus, cats help seniors make friends with other seniors because their sparkling personalities and silly antics are a great topic of conversation! Email us at info@purebredsplus.org and let's chat!

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue© is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization founded in 2007. We are an all volunteer organizations. 100% of our funding goes toward the cats—no one gets paid a salary. We cover the entire West Coast for many breeds and work in tandem with Purebred Cat Breed Rescue on a National basis. Our mission is to educate pet owners, breeders, and shelters about our breeds, and to place our cats with Forever Families who will give them the proper care and love they deserve. We carefully match cats with their Forever Families by evaluating each cat's personality, temperament, and special needs. Then we determine the best fit for both the cat and the new family. Please note that we do NOT ship cats. Adoption fee is $175 unless otherwise noted on the individual cat bio.  This fee allows us to provide excellent vet care for the cats that really need it. The healthy kitties make it possible for the sick ones to be saved.
