Bella & Buddy
Born ~4/14/13, Female & Male Siblings, Oriental ShortHair Mix

Buddy and Bella are wonderful with children. They do not scratch even visiting children. They like to be wherever the action is in the house. They are a major part of the family and the more active the better. Every night Buddy and Bella go to bed with the two boys in the home. They watch them brush their teeth and they get into bed with their favorite. Buddy sits on the back of the toilet and watches the boys take showers and baths. Once the boys are asleep, both cats go into the parent’s room and join them on their bed. Are you looking for a great pair of family cats? Bella and Buddy are the ones for you!
Lefty is a very special, super sweet boy. He is a three legged cat. His front right leg is missing, but that doesn't deter him from getting around without any issues. He is a sweet cuddle bug and very submissive, which is the only reason he is looking for a new forever home. Lefty’s owner is faced with the difficult decision of rehoming her beloved three legged companion due to her other cats constantly picking on this lovable boy. She has asked our organization to help him find a wonderful, loving and supportive home. Are you looking for sweetheart of a boy?
This little girl is quite petite, she is only 7 1/2 pounds. Her size and shape are like the old style Balinese cats, long, lithe and graceful. She would love to curl up on your lap and cuddle with you in bed. If you're looking for a little feisty love-bug, look no further, since little Kiki is your girl!

Fostering...

A whiskered face, a gentle head butt, a soft meow, an endearing purr, or the soft touch of a paw…so much to love.

Undoubtedly, the biggest benefit to fostering is that you are helping a cat or kitten who has fallen on hard times.

Sometimes this can be the first time the cat or kitten has felt safe, cared for and loved. The feeling of achievement when a nervous cat or kitten finally comes up to you for attention, after shying away from human contact, is beyond words. If you have ever felt you wanted to make a real difference to a cat or kittens life, then please consider fostering.

When your foster cat or kitten goes to its permanent home it will be bittersweet. It's almost heartbreaking and you may wonder why you put yourself through the heartache. You have to remember you are giving the cat or kitten a chance to live their life in a happy home, something many of our rescues have never known. Yes, it does hurt, until the next rescued cat or kitten comes in and you're reminded of exactly why you foster: because they need you.

SPENCER
Born February 2014, Male, Red and White Turkish Angora.

Spencer is doing so well. As he has settled in with us he has become a total lovebug. He loves attention and he grows more beautiful everyday. He gets along with other non dominant cats but he would be happy being the only cat in the household and getting all the love for himself.

TRINKET
7-8 Year Old, Female Snowshoe Siamese.

Trinket is a little thing with a solid, cobby body. Her coat is thick and plush, bright white and chocolate brown. Of course she has the blue, blue eyes of the Siamese. Trinket is a good little girl and she is settling in nicely. She will make someone a wonderful happy, playful companion..

SUSIE Q
Born May 2014, Female, Brown Spotted Bengal Mix

This little girl is personality plus. She just loves humans and all the petting and cuddles they can give her. Mostly she just wants the whole world as her toy and playground as long as it is filled with people to give her lots of attention. She's looking for...you!

Our Mission
We have dedicated ourselves to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of purebred and other exceptional cats. The organization operates as an all-volunteer, "no-kill" animal rescue. In addition, we educate the public in the proper care of purebred cats and the importance of spaying and neutering to control the animal population.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue© is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization founded in 2007. We are an all volunteer organizations. 100% of our funding goes toward the cats—no one gets paid a salary. We cover the entire West Coast for many breeds and work in tandem with Purebred Cat Breed Rescue on a National basis. Our mission is to educate pet owners, breeders, and shelters about our breeds, and to place our cats with Forever Families who will give them the proper care and love they deserve. We carefully match cats with their Forever Families by evaluating each cat's personality, temperament, and special needs. Then we determine the best fit for both the cat and the new family. Please note that we do NOT ship cats. Adoption fee is $175 unless otherwise noted on the individual cat bio.  This fee allows us to provide excellent vet care for the cats that really need it. The healthy kitties make it possible for the sick ones to be saved.
